Three Rivers, MI — The Three Rivers Wildcats bass fishing team hosted a tournament at Pleasant Lake on Monday, June 9, showcasing strong performances from both high school and junior anglers. The event brought out competitive spirit and skill from our local youth, with teams battling for the biggest catches and heaviest total weights.
High School Division
In the high school category, several teams brought in impressive hauls:
Evan Stabler & Bradley Lindsey took first place in the HS division, leading the pack with 3 fish totaling an impressive 7.82 lbs. Evan also landed the tournament’s biggest bass, weighing 3.96 lbs.
Oliver Del Guanto & Carter Grewett caught the highest number of fish with 5, totaling 7.26 lbs earning them 2nd place.
Other notable performances included Brady Moyer & Noah Moyer with 4 fish (4.63 lbs) and Cooper Stears & Brayden Patch with 3 fish (3.37 lbs).
Myles McClain & Jett Hoffman, Rhylee Herr & William Quake, and Collin Balk & Joe Anglemyer also brought fish to the scale, while several other teams were unable to register a catch this time.
Junior Division
In the junior level, competition was equally fierce.
Jason Helmuth & Chloe Yoder had an impressive catch of 5 fish totaling 7.19 lbs, earning first place in the junior division.
Coltin Burdette & James Horton made a splash with 1 fish weighing 3.82 lbs — the biggest bass in the junior division (caught by Coltin).
Other teams including Bo Nelson & Percy Brauer, Masen Stears & Graham McGlothlen, and Wyatt Reed & Gavin Terry also landed single fish catches.
Unfortunately, several junior teams did not register any fish in this tournament, but all participants showed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The Three Rivers Wildcats Bass Fishing Team continues to promote youth involvement in the sport and looks forward to more exciting competitions. Congratulations to all anglers for their dedication and skill on the water!
